A man was injured in a shooting in Essex early Sunday morning, Baltimore County police said.
The 23-year-old man was out with friends near Bayner Road and Bayner Court when he was shot at about 1:40 a.m.
He suffered a non-life threatening wound, police said, and went to a nearby gas station for help. He was taken to an area hospital.
Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit detectives are investigating the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 410-307-2020.
