Baltimore man arrested in July shooting near Rosedale

A Northeast Baltimore man is charged with murder after police say he fatally shot another man in July who had a relationship with his child's mother.

Kevin Isaiah Spruill, 22, is held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center, Baltimore County police said Thursday.

On the night of July 23, Spruill shot 27-year-old Travis Bryan Durant on Emelia Woods Court north of Rosedale, police said.

Durant had recently begun a relationship with a woman with whom Spruill has a child, police said.

Spruill was in police custody by Saturday, according to online court records. Police did not release details of his arrest.

Court records did not list an attorney for Spruill.
