A man was shot and critically injured in Catonsville on Tuesday afternoon, a day after another man was shot and killed a few miles away in Woodlawn.
Officers went to a wooded area near Geipe Road and North Rolling Road at 3:50 p.m after a friend of the victim heard gunshots and called police, Baltimore County police said. The 23-year-old victim was shot at least once in the upper body and was in critical condition.
Multiple suspects are believed to be involved and were seen running away from the area after the shooting. Police believe it was a targeted shooting, and ask anyone with information to call 410-307-2020.
On Monday evening, 21-year-old Gary Tyshawn Bowser was shot and killed 2.5 miles away near the 1000 block of Coleridge Court in Woodlawn. Police have not said if the crimes are related.
