A man attempting to deliver pizza was shot Monday night while working in western Baltimore County, police said.
The victim, whose age was not provided by police, was hit at least once in the lower body after "a brief verbal exchange" with a suspect in the 4000 block of Sanlee Road around 10 p.m., police said. The man drove himself back to the pizza shop before he was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Police expect the man to survive.
The suspect, who police believe was targeting the pizza delivery driver, ran from the scene, police said.
