Baltimore County police on Friday identified an elderly woman who was found dead in her Overlea home after it caught fire earlier this month.
The victim was identified as Roberta S. McFarland, 74. Police said the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Firefighters were called at 11:38 p.m. on Feb. 5 to her home 4500 block of Kenwood Ave, where they found McFarland on the third floor. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Fire officials said previously that the three-story home was "extremely cluttered."
