A Dundalk man responding to a knock at his back door Monday night was shot multiple times in the upper body, Baltimore County police said.
The shooting occurred at about 8:20 p.m. in the 7900 block of Eastdale Road. The 35-year-old man told officers that he heard a knock at his back door and saw an unknown person outside, police said.
The victim was taken to a hospital but is expected to survive.
The suspect fled, and no description was provided by police.
