A school bus carrying 27 students was involved in a crash with another vehicle in Dundalk on Friday afternoon, a Baltimore County fire department spokeswoman said.

The crash occurred at about 2:30 p.m. at North Point Boulevard and Trappe Road, said spokeswoman Elise Armacost. Students got off the bus themselves but two were being evaluated by emergency medical personnel, she said.

The driver of the civilian vehicle was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center for serious but non life-threatening injuries. The bus driver was not injured, Armacost said.

Armacost, nor a police spokeswoman, could say Friday afternoon what school the students attended.
