Baltimore County police were searching Friday for a shoplifting suspect who allegedly assaulted an officer at White Marsh Mall before fleeing.
Police were searching Friday afternoon in the 8200 block of Perry Hall Blvd. after the suspect ran from police while being detained.
The officer was not injured in the incident, police said.
