Man arrested as barricade situation in Parkville is resolved, Baltimore County Police say

Baltimore County Police arrested a man after he refused to leave a Parkville home Wednesday, officials said.

Police were called to the 2800 block of Munster Road in Parkville around 1:25 p.m. for a burglary. Officers encountered a man who had broken into a residence and was refusing to leave, police said. Hostage negotiators and a tactical team were on hand.

At about 6 p.m., spokesperson Trae Corbin said the situation had been resolved and the suspect taken into custody.
