A woman was found fatally shot inside a Windsor Mill apartment complex Friday, Baltimore County Police said.
Officers were called just before 9 a.m. to the Diamond Ridge apartments in the 7200 block of Chippenham Place for a report of shots fired. Officers found a woman who had been shot in the third-floor hallway of an apartment building. The woman was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead, police said.
One witness told police they heard gunshots.
Police did not name the woman, or provide information about a possible motive or suspects Friday afternoon.
Homicide detectives are investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call county police at 410-307-2020.
