A woman is dead after a fatal car crash Friday in Baltimore County, Maryland State Police said.
The driver, who hasn’t yet been identified, crashed into a guardrail near Interstate 695 East near Cove Road in Dundalk, police said. The vehicle, a 2007 Chevy Cobalt, was on fire when first responders arrived around 4:30 a.m. and found the driver trapped inside.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Maryland State Police are investigating the crash. The right lane and shoulder have reopened after a three hour closure, police said in a news release.
