A Howard County high school custodian has been charged in Baltimore County with possession and distribution of child pornography after investigators searched his home Tuesday, police said.
Ji Yeab Kang, 27, of Owings Mills, was released on $100,000 bail from the Baltimore County Detention Center, police said. Kang is a custodian at Marriotts Ridge High School, according to the police department.
Police executed a search warrant after they said they traced Internet activity to a source in his home on Baroness Court in Owings Mills. They said they seized several computers and other devices that contained child pornography.
A spokesperson for Howard County schools could not immediately be reached for comment.
