Baltimore County homicide detectives are investigating after a man's body was found in Bowleys Quarters Wednesday morning.
The body was found in a grassy area on the 3800 block of Bayville Road, and police were called to the scene at about 6:45 a.m. The area is near Seneca Elementary School, but not on school property, they said.
The man, who has not been identified, suffered upper body trauma, police said. Someone walking in the neighborhood found the body and called 911.
Parents of Seneca Elementary students received a phone notification from the school principal Wednesday morning informing them of police activity near the school, said county schools spokesman Mychael Dickerson.
