Baltimore County police said Tuesday they have arrested a man accused of intentionally setting fire to a vacant house on the grounds of Fort Howard in December.

James William Folk, 38, faces charges of second-degree arson and second-degree burglary. Authorities say the Dec. 20 fire on the 9600 block of Gettysburg Avenue could be seen from several miles away. Fifteen pieces of equipment were brought to the scene, and it took more than five hours for firefighters to bring the blaze under control.
