A 42-year-old man was shot in the back Friday evening in the 800 block of N. Belnord Avenue in East Baltimore, and Baltimore City police are searching for a suspect. Officers were called to the intersection of Monument Street and Lakewood Avenue, about a block away, at about 7 p.m. and found the man, who was taken to an area hospital where he's being treated for his injuries.
