A 41-year-old man died after being shot in North Baltimore Monday and three others were injured in shootings several hours later, continuing a recent streak of violence that brings the city’s homicide count to 234.
Police found Trevos Agard around 8:20 p.m. Monday after hearing gunfire in the 400 block of Homeland Ave. in the Homeland neighborhood, an area that does not frequently see gun violence. Agard later died from his injuries, Baltimore police confirmed.
The killing comes on the heels of the city’s deadliest month in more than a year. September had 37 deaths, with 17 happening in the final week of the month.
An 18-year-old man was also shot in the neck late Monday night at 11:59 p.m. near the 2800 block of Lake Ave. in the Belair-Edison neighborhood, police said.
In the Sharp Leadenhall neighborhood, police said a 33-year-old man was shot in the leg and a 36-year-old man was shot in the toe after midnight during an incident in the 1100 block of S. Hanover St.
