Two men were shot Friday night in separate incidents in Baltimore, police said.
Police in the Central District were called to an area hospital at about 9:30 p.m. for a walk-in shooting victim. Officers responded and found a 26-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his chest, according to the Baltimore Police Department.
The victim told investigators he was shot by an unknown suspect in the 2200 block of Druid Hill Avenue.
In the Southwest District at about 10:30 p.m., officers were called to the 700 block of Wicklow Road for a report of a shooting. They discovered a 36-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his leg when they arrived. The victim told officers he was shot in the 600 block of North Woodington Road.
He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
Detectives from the Citywide Shooting Unit are investigating both incidents. Anyone with information on either shooting is asked to call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
