A 22-year-old woman was shot around midnight Saturday morning in Levindale, police said.
The victim and friends told police they were parked in the 2400 block of Cylburn Avenue in Northern Baltimore when a gray car pulled into the block, blocked them in, and an unknown male got out and open fire. After being struck, the woman was able to drive herself to Shock Trauma, police said.
The suspect is described as a medium-complexioned black male with a slim build, who was wearing a light colored shirt and dark colored jeans, police said.
The woman is in serious condition but is expected to survive, police said.
