A teenager was shot in his face in Northeast Baltimore early Tuesday, police said.
Officers were called to the scene on the 1200 block of Rossiter Ave. in New Northwood around 3:45 a.m. The victim, 19, was taken to a hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, police said.
While police have listed the shooting as non-fatal, the teen's serious condition has prompted police to alert homicide detectives.
Also, a 40-year-old man was shot in his arm Tuesday afternoon in the Reservoir Hill neighborhood of Central Baltimore. Officers were called shortly before 5 p.m. to the 2000 block of Linden Ave. and the man was hospitalized.
Police are also investigating the shooting Monday night of a 51-year-old man in Southwest Baltimore.
The man was shot in the stomach while he was working inside a store on the 3100 block of West North Ave. in the Walbrook neighborhood, police said. The shooter opened the door and fired one round into the man's stomach, police said. Police were on scene shortly after 11 p.m.
The victim was taken to an area hospital, and police did not immediately provide his condition Tuesday morning.
Police did not list suspects and are asking anyone with information in either shooting to call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
