A man was shot while being robbed in downtown Baltimore early Sunday, in the same block where another man was shot last month.
The 31-year-old man was found in the 400 block of Water Street, a block from the Inner Harbor, around 2:05 a.m. He had a gunshot wound to his hand and a graze wound on his thigh, and was taken to a hospital for treatment, according to police. He is expected to survive, police said.
Police said the victim struggled with a man trying to rob him, and several shots were fired. Police ask anyone with information to call 410-396-2221 or call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
On April 23, another man was shot in the same block around 2:50 p.m. In that case, the 23-year-old victim was shot in the leg and was taken to a hospital.
