City police said two men were injured in shootings that occurred in north and east Baltimore overnight.
Officers were called at 10:14 p.m. Friday to the 2100 block of East Preston Street in the Broadway East neighborhood, where a 26-year-old man was laying on the sidewalk and had a gunshot wound on his right leg. He was taken to an area hospital for a non life-threatening injury.
At 1:21 a.m. Saturday, police said officers responded to a call for a shooting in the 5600 block of Ready Avenue in the Mid-Govans neighborhood. Officers found a 20-year-old man who had been shot multiple times at the corner of York Road and Ready Avenue. He was taken to an area hospital where he is listed in critical but stable condition.
