3 shot, 1 fatally, overnight in Baltimore

Three people were shot, one fatally, overnight in Baltimore, police said.

Anthony Rucker, 21, was shot multiple times around 9:30 p.m. in the 700 block of E. North Avenue in East Baltimore Midway, police said. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment where he later died from his injuries, police said.

At about 8:35 Friday night, officers found a 25-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg in the 2500 block of E. Monument Street in Milton-Montford, police said. The victim was transported to an area hospital. Investigators said they believe the victim was shot in the 700 block of N. Rose Street, around the corner.

Around 12:30 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to the 1100 block of Laurens Street in Upton or a report of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found a 21-year-old who had been shot in his head, police said. The victim was transported to an area hospital. Due to the severity of the victims injuries, Western District Detectives and Homicide Detectives were called to the scene.

Police gave no further information in any of the shootings, including any details regarding the suspect or motive.
