One dead in overnight shootings in Baltimore

Baltimore police reported two overnight shootings in the city's Northwest and East sections.

One man is dead after two people were shot in separate overnight shootings, Baltimore police said.

Homicide detectives are investigation a shooting shortly after 5 a.m. in the 4500 block Westchester Road in the Windsor Hills neighborhood in Northwest Baltimore. An 18-year-old man was shot in the head. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

A 37-year-old man was shot in the leg at 2 a.m. in the 2000 block Robb Street in East Baltimore. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
