A 24-year-old man was shot and killed in west Baltimore on Thursday night.
The man was shot in the 1400 block of N. Longwood Street in the Rosemont neighborhood at around 6:15 p.m., police said. He was pronounced dead less than an hour later at a local hospital. The man, who was shot in the abdomen, was not immediately identified.
The month began with a rare 10-day streak without anyone killed.
