Two shootings early Saturday in Baltimore

A man and a woman were shot in two separate incidents early Saturday morning in Baltimore, police said.

Officers went to a hospital shortly before 2 a.m. and found the first victim, a 23-year-old woman who had been shot in the left arm and had a graze wound on her right arm, police said. The shooting is being investigated by detectives in the southern district, but no other details were immediately available.

Less than an hour later, officers went to the 300 block of E. 24th Street to investigate a report of another shooting and found a 20-year-old man nearby on Brentwood Avenue suffering gun shot wounds to his left wrist and upper arm, police said. He was taken to the hospital.
