One shot, another killed in separate Baltimore shootings

Baltimore police are investigating a homicide and another shooting that wounded a man Tuesday night.

Western district police officers responded to Christian and South Pulaski streets for a reported shooting at 9:23 p.m. and found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound to her upper back. She was transported to an area hospital where police said she was listed in stable condition on Wednesday.

A preliminary investigation revealed that the victim and a friend were walking southbound in the 400 block of Pulaski St., when they heard a bang and the victim was struck and wounded. Detectives have no suspects.

At 10:17 p.m., officers responded to the 600 block of Denison St. in Southwest Baltimore for a reported shooting and found a man with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to an area hospital but was pronounced dead at 10:49 p.m., police said. Homicide detectives have no suspects.
