Second triple shooting over weekend in Baltimore

Three people were shot and wounded in Northwest Baltimore on Sunday night, the second triple shooting of the weekend, police said.

The victims were all male, but police did not immediately know whether they were adults or juveniles. They were shot at around 8:30 p.m. near St. Charles and West Belvedere avenues in the Woodmere neighborhood.

Police did not immediately have more information on their injuries, but said the victims were expected to survive. St. Charles and West Belvedere avenues was also the scene of a homicide in late June. Claude Nelson, 53, was killed in the 5200 block of St. Charles Avenue on June 23.

Another triple shooting injured two men and a young boy on Saturday night in Baltimore. In that case, the three were shot in the 1200 block of East Eager Street and were listed in good condition at a hospital on Sunday night.
