Three men were shot, one of them fatally, within an hour in separate incidents on the west side of Baltimore Wednesday night, police said.
The first shooting occurred shortly after 9 p.m. in the 2500 block of W. Fayette St. Police officers found a man with a gunshot wound to his upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
About 45 minutes later, police responding to a reported shooting in the 4000 block of Frederick Ave., in southwest Baltimore, found a man who had been shot in the neck. He was treated for his wound at a nearby hospital.
Around the same time, in northwest Baltimore, a man sought hospital treatment for a gunshot wound to his hand. Police believe the victim had been shot near Reisterstown Road and Cordelia Ave.
