Baltimore police release surveillance video related to Dionay Smith killing

Baltimore police seek the public's help in identifying the person in this video.

Baltimore police released surveillance video Monday related to the killing of an Upton man who is the brother of a Baltimore police spokesman.

Dionay Smith, 24, was found dead with a gunshot wound around 8 p.m. Sunday in his home in the 1400 block of Argyle Avenue, police said. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

On Tuesday, Baltimore police spokesman T.J. Smith identified the victim as his brother.

Police have not released any information on a suspect or motive. In the video released Monday, two men are seen entering the vestibule of a building, with one appearing to hold a gun.
