17-year-old Glen Burnie girl charged with attempted murder in Baltimore shooting, robbery

A 17-year-old girl from Glen Burnie has been charged with attempted first-degree murder in the shooting of a 19-year-old man during a robbery in Baltimore last month, Baltimore Police said Thursday.

Rai’Asia Lee, of the 400 block of Glenwood Ave. in Glen Burnie, was waiting to see a court commissioner on Thursday, police said. She could not be reached for comment and did not have an attorney listed in online court records.

Police allege Lee shot the unidentified victim on Dec. 15 in the 400 block of Diener Pl., in the Irvington neighborhood of Southwest Baltimore.

An unidentified male was killed Wednesday evening in Reservoir Hill, Baltimore Police said.

Officers were called about 8:40 p.m. to an area hospital, where the victim had arrived for treatment, police said Thursday. They had not previously announced the shooting.

The victim was in the area to meet a friend when he was approached and robbed by the suspect, police said. The victim did not know Lee, police said.
