Police make arrest in Southeast Baltimore shooting

City police on Thursday said they've made an arrest in a shooting in Southeast Baltimore earlier this month.

Detectives with the Warrant Apprehension unit arrested Charles Scott, 30, of the 1500 block of Eutaw Place, for a shooting August 17 in the 6100 block of Cardiff Avenue in O'Donnell Heights.

Officers were called at 4:37 a.m. to the 6100 block of Shipview Way where they found a-28-year-old man who was suffering from gunshot wounds to his legs. Medics took the victim to an area hospital for treatment, where he is in stable condition, police said.

Police determined the victim was shot in the 6100 block of Cardiff Avenue, and ran to the 6100 block Shipview Way before collapsing.
