Baltimore woman arrested in connection to July shooting

A Baltimore woman has been charged with attempted murder in the shooting of a 22-year-old man last week, police said.

Detectives served an arrest warrant on Lauren Carter, 33, Monday afternoon in Randallstown, police said.

Carter, who lives in McElderry Park in Southeast Baltimore, is one of two suspects in the nonfatal shooting of a man in the 500 block of N Rose Street on July 27, police said.

She faces charges of first-degree attempted murder and conspiracy to commit murder, police said.

Carter does not have an attorney listed in court records.

The second suspect has not been apprehended, police said.

Police also identified the victim of a homicide on July 29 in the 5600 block of Govane Avenue as Tyrone Stokes, 39.
