Baltimore County Police charged a 27-year-old man Thursday in a double-shooting at a Woodlawn motel.
Police said Kyron Raymar Simms, 27, shot a 43-year-old man in a Motel 6 parking lot just before 5 a.m. Wednesday. A 29-year-old woman who witnessed the shooting from a motel room window was also shot, police said.
Both victims were taken to area hospitals for treatment and are expected to survive.
Police did not release information about a motive for the shooting.
Simms, of the 6400 block of Lincoln Court, has been charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder and related charges. He is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center. He did not have an attorney listed in online court records.
