Man, 28, arrested in Nov. 7 Park Heights shooting

A 28-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder in a shooting in Central Park Heights earlier this month, police said.

David Parker was arrested Tuesday on attempted first- and second-degree murder, assault and gun charges in the shooting of a 24-year-old man in the backyard of a home at 4919 Chalgrove Ave. on Nov. 7 just before 5:30 p.m., police said.

The two men got into an argument that escalated, leading the two to pull guns on each other, and Parker shot the victim multiple times, police said.

Parker is being held at the Baltimore City Detention Center.
