A woman was shot in the leg and injured by the Edmondson Village shopping center in southwest Baltimore on Thursday afternoon, police said.
Police found the victim around 3 p.m. in the 500 block of N. Athol Ave., and she was taken to a hospital for treatment. Police said she told them she was walking and heard a gunshot, then realized she had been struck by gunfire.
