A 21-year-old man was shot in the chest Tuesday evening in Baltimore, police said.
At about 7:40 p.m., police said an officer was in the 100 block of S. Addison St. in the Carrollton Ridge neighborhood when he heard gunshots.
Police said the officer turned and saw people running. The man, conscious and breathing, was transported to an area hospital, police said.
No suspect or motives have been identified, police said.
