A 36-year-old man is in critical condition after he was shot in Penn North overnight, police said.
Officers responded to the 1300 block of West North Avenue just after 2:36 a.m. for a reported shooting.
There, the found the victim, who was suffering from gunshot wounds to the neck and back.
Also, just after midnight, a 16-year-old man was shot in the leg in the 5500 block of Bowleys Lane in Frankford, police said. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
No other details were available for either incident.
