Man shot while walking in West Baltimore

A man shot multiple times while walking in West Baltimore checked himself into an area hospital during the early morning hours Wednesday, according to Baltimore police.

Police arrived to the hospital around 12:30 a.m. and found the 23-year-old victim was shot in the arm and leg. The injuries are non-life threatening.

The victim was shot while walking north in the unit block of South Carey Street near the Union Square and Hollins Market neighborhoods, police said.

Police said it is not clear if the victim was targeted, and they are still searching for a suspect.
