Man, 23, shot in arm in Park Heights

A 23-year-old man was shot in the arm early Thursday in Northwest Baltimore, police said.

Officers were called at 1:27 a.m. to the 3600 block of Garrison Ave. in Central Park Heights, where they found the victim with a gunshot wound.

The victim, whom police did not name, was taken to a hospital. His condition was not released.

Two people have been killed in the adjacent neighborhood of Arlington in the last month, according to police.

Cortez Brown, 17, was shot to death on May 22 in the 3500 block of Hayward Ave., police said. The following day, Kevon Gant, 29, was shot to death about five blocks away.
