Baltimore police are investigating a homicide that occurred downtown Friday morning, and a double shooting in Brooklyn Thursday night.
At 5:50 a.m., a patrol officer at the corner of Eutaw and Saratoga streets heard gunshots, police said. Several officers searched the area and found an unidentified male at Paca and Saratoga streets, police said.
The victim was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center by medics and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police said they believe the victim was targeted. Anyone with information is asked to call homicide detectives at 410-396-2100.
At 10:30 p.m. Thursday, patrol officers were called to the 3600 block of 9th Street for a shooting. At the scene, they found a 29-year-old man suffering from a graze wound to the ankle and a 25-year-old man who has been shot in the abdomen.
Both victims were taken to an area hospital.
