Three shot in Baltimore Monday

Three people were shot in separate incidents in Baltimore Monday, police said.

A man was shot several times in Mondawmin on the city's west side Monday evening, police said. Officers were called at 6:11 p.m. to the shooting in the 2000 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway near Mondawmin Mall and Frederick Douglass High School, police said.

Four hours later, a man was shot in the leg in the 1100 block of N. Carrollton Ave. in Sandtown-Winchester, police said.

Neither man's condition was released. Anyone with information in either shooting may call Western District detectives at 410-396-2477.

A woman was shot in the early hours of Monday morning in Charles North, police said. Police said the woman was shot in the leg sometime before 2:40 a.m. in the 2100 block of N. Charles St.

She was taken to an area hospital for treatment and detectives are investigating. Anyone with information may call detectives at 410-396-2455 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.

No further information was released.
