Three men shot, one fatally, in city shootings Tuesday

Three men were shot, one fatally, in two incidents in Baltimore Tuesday, police said.

Police responded to a shooting in the 800 block of Hillman Street in Johnston Square at about 10:25 p.m. Upon arriving at the scene, on the city's east side, police discovered two adult male victims.

A 38-year-old man was transported to an area hospital to receive treatment for a gunshot wound to the stomach, and the other, a 39-year-old man, was shot in the head and pronounced dead on the scene, police said.

Homicide detectives are investigating. Anyone with information may call 410-396-2100.

Earlier in the day, a man was shot in the leg in West Baltimore's Harlem Park neighborhood, police said.

The shooting at Edmondson and N. Carrollton avenues, police said, was three blocks from where a man shot himself in the foot Monday night.
