Edmondson Village double shooting leaves one man dead

Baltimore police are investigating Edmondson Village double shooting that leaves one man dead.

A man is dead and a woman is recovering after they were shot Monday night in Edmondson Village, Baltimore police said.

Police identified the man as Kevin Hill, 19, of the 900 block of Wildwood Parkway.

Officers were called at 11:35 p.m. to the 3900 block Flowerton Road for a report of a shooting, where they found the two victims. Hill was shot in the stomach and was taken to an area hospital, where he later died. A 23-year old woman, who has not been identified by police, was shot in the leg and taken to an hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A woman who answered the phone at Hill's home hung up when reached for comment Tuesday.

Homicide detectives are investigating and anyone with information may call police at 410-396-2100.
