A man was shot in the leg Wednesday night in the north Baltimore neighborhood of Better Waverly, city police said.
Officers were called at 10:05 p.m. to the to the 3200 block of Tivoly Avenue in the Coldstream Homestead Montebello neighborhood for a report of a shooting. They found a 21-year old man with a gunshot wound to his leg and he was taken to an area hospital.
Police said investigators believe the shooting occurred about a mile away in the 1100 block of Gorsuch Avenue.
