Two men were injured in separate shootings in Baltimore Thursday night, police said.
The shootings — one in Irvington on the southwest side and the other in Broadway East — happened in addition to a quadruple shooting in Midtown-Edmondson Thursday afternoon.
In the first, a man was shot in the arm in the first block of S. August Ave. near New Cathedral Cemetery, police said.
Officers were called at 6:13 p.m. to the intersection of Old Frederick Road and S. Monastery Avenue nearby, where they found the victim.
He was taken to a city hospital, but his condition was not released. Southwest District detectives are investigating, and anyone with information may call 410-396-2488.
Hours later, just after 9 p.m., a man was shot in the 1800 block of Rutland Ave. in Broadway East, police said. No further details were released Thursday night.
Eastern District detectives are investigating, and anyone with information may call 410-396-2433.
The Broadway East shooting happened just two blocks from the same block of E. Federal St., where a man was shot to death near Rutland Elementary School on Monday, police said.
