A 24-year-old man was shot in the hip in Northeast Baltimore Monday night, police said.
Officers were called at 7:48 p.m. to the 1300 block of Kitmore Road in New Northwood, police said. They found the injured man, who said he'd been shot by an unknown suspect while standing on the block. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Northeast District detectives are investigating the shooting, and anyone with information may call 410-396-2444.
City police were also investigating a shooting that happened late Sunday at about 11:20 p.m. in the 1600 block of Normal Ave. in East Baltimore.
The victim was found shot in the leg and was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
Eastern District Detectives are investigating and anyone with information may call police at 410-396-2433.
Neither victim was identified, and police have not determined a motive or a suspect in either shooting.
