A 50-year-old man was shot in the leg Saturday night in southwest Baltimore, a result — he said — of nearby gunfire, according to police.
Police responded at 8:40 p.m. to the 3000 block of Baker Street in the Rosemont neighborhood for a reported shooting. The victim told police he heard gunshots while standing in the area and then realized he had been hit.
The man was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
