Baltimore police are investigating a shooting that took place early Monday in the city's Poppleton neighborhood.
Officers were called at 12:37 a.m. to the 100 block of N. Poppleton Street for a report of discharging weapon but they did not find a victim. The officers did find a number shell casings.
About 40 minutes later, a man who was shot in the arm, walked into a local hospital and identified himself to police as the victim in the Poppleton shooting.
