A 3-year-old boy was shot in the leg in the Uplands neighborhood of Southwest Baltimore Monday night, police said.
The toddler was hospitalized in stable condition, police said. The circumstances of the shooting, including whether it happened inside or outside the row home in the 4400 block of Pen Lucy Rd., where police found him in when they responded at about 9:30 p.m., were under investigation.
The boy's injuries were not expected to be life threatening, according to police.
Police said they were interviewing the residents of the home and neighbors for more information.
