Man shot multiple times in South Baltimore

A man was shot multiple times in South Baltimore on Friday afternoon, according to Baltimore Police.

Officers were dispatched to an area hospital about 4:59 p.m. and found a man with multiple gunshot wounds, said Detective Jeremy Silbert, a police spokesman.

During an initial investigation, district detectives determined the man was shot in the 3100 block of Savoy Street, in the city's Lakeland neighborhood, Silbert said.

The location is not far from the Baltimore County line, near the intersection of Hollins Ferry Road and West Patapsco Avenue.

The man's injuries are considered non-life-threatening, Silbert said.

Police had no suspects as of Friday night, he said.
